Much of the talk regarding the new Ryan Grubb offense has been focused on the utilization of the Seattle Seahawks’ dynamic WR room. Left aside to some extent, has been the conversation regarding the subject of the RBs, especially that of budding star Kenneth Walker. How Grubb, Macdonald, et al fit Walker and the RBs into the new scheme seems to be of utmost importance. Talented backs can be used to stabilize the clock, to pick up easy first downs, and of course, have a tendency to deliver knock-out punches to tired and/or undisciplined defenses who tend to be on their heels as games wear on. I would think a new coaching staff would lean on their RBs, and Kenneth Walker is a good one to rest your weight upon. Personally, I am very excited to see Walker (and Charbonnet, for that matter) operate in the new Grubb scheme. How are yall feeling?
